This is the team who surprised and delighted the judges in 2008 with their unique interpretation of the Bll design brief by putting all the required spaces into a single building. Team \| 3D BluePrint India This team has 2-1/2 years experience working on real live projects 100% in 3D BIM. As an international consuklting firm they have been integrating the designs of Steven Holl (USA), Riken Yamamoto (Japan) and Claus & Kaan (NL) with structural & installation elements and producing working drawings from the model. Team \| BIM Japan Team BIM Japan has returned for this year’s event after a technically impressive performance in 2008. Their stated concept is “eco-design through cycle of design and analysis”, and a strong team is being fielded including: buildingSMART Japan BIM ARCHITECTS, Inc Infomatix Inc. Environment Simulation Inc. FORUM8 Co., Ltd. OTSUKA Co. TAISEI Co. SECOM Co., Ltd. Intelligent Systems Lab.
Team \| Southern Axis - Chile This team from South America returns to after winning the Judges Discretionary Awards in Bll2008. The Judges’ comments were “Excellent results from a very small team”. Team \| Super Team – Singapore The Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) and building Smart Singapore Chapter (bSS) will jointly participate in BLL09 from Singapore. An architectural design team consisting of SIA member firms, collaborating together with the vendor for ArchiCAD will provide BIM support. Other software houses such as Tekla etc. will provide additional support to the team. An engineering firm will also provide technical services in order to enhance the collaborative effort. The team consists of individuals from a broad range of design disciplines, with wide ranging expertise and knowledge in BIM workstreams, processes and technologies, which is further supported by innovative design practices.
